The family of Martin Oyairo, a celebrity shoe cleaning expert, who died shortly after arriving to Pakistan on a business trip, have called for an investigation into his death having been unable to learn why and how he died.
Martin, who only just turned 27 a month before he passed, is suspected to have died “under suspicious” despite an autopsy concluding his death to be accidental due to an unprovoked fall.
His sister, Beverly Oyairo, setup a GoFundMe page with the aim of using the funds to seek justice and closure for the man whom they describe as “generous, loving and driven character”. So far, £7,609 of the £16,000 target has been raised.
He is said to have travelled to Pakistan “in pursuit of an opportunity which would bring growth to the business”, after welcoming his first child.
Not long after arriving to Pakistan, news emerged of his passing to his family. The CEO of the shoe cleaning business Always Fresh Empire had only just welcomed his first child – a son – with his partner, Edith Williams.
Edith, a renowned make up artist paid tribute to “best friend, my lover, my partner, my world and the father to our beautiful son.”
“I never thought I would ever be without you and I can’t even talk about it but Gods way is not our way. I am lucky to have met you and to have loved you, We lived our best lives together, you cared and loved me like no other, you would always make sure I’m good. “
“You had the best heart and you was so caring. You are loved by many, especially me. We had so much plans and I’m in painnnnnn that you have left me/us. I will cherish all our beautiful memories and your son will know everything about you.”
” You were so excited to be a dad, We decided to keep our precious news of my pregnancy off socials. You saw and named our child before you left and I’m grateful to have shared that moment with you.”
“I promise to take Always Fresh all the way as you planned. I love you like I have never loved before and it hurts me that I won’t see your smile, your amazing pink lips, your face and I will not hear your voice again but I know you have gone to a better place. You touched the world in a different way, your legacy will live on I promise.”
“I don’t have the energy and strength to write more because I can’t even believe this is happening, to lose a partner is an unspeakable pain but I will love you forever baby.”
