Michael’s talent saw him win Comedian of the Year at The African Pride Awards 2017, but the hilarious mockumentary, #SWIL put him on a different pedestal.

The short clip trending worldwide is of an appearance at BBC’s Radio 1xtra, where challenged by Charlie Sloth, “MC Quakez” coughs out an original lyrical grime.

MC Quakez is one of 3 fictional characters in the mockumentary series #SWIL (Somewhere in London). Relative to Hood Documentary, Patrick Clover, Dr Ofori and MC Quakez (all played by Michael) are followed on their journey to success.

As an aspiring rapper/poet in the series, MC Quakez is aiming to make it big with the help of back-up guy, Shakes (starring his real-life brother).

Then there is the Ghanaian Uber driver and self-titled physical doctor aka relationship counsellor aka Dr Ofori – who indirectly mocks the couple that visits him with their problems.

Finally, Patrick Clover – don’t call him “Pat” – is the Croydon cockney-rhyming community support officer whose career is levelling horizontally being a school dinner lady at his previous job. He hopes to make it as a constable one day.
