Leg Over singer, Mr Eazi revealed his ‘secret’ girlfriend, billionaire Otedola’s daughter Temi Otedola, to his fans at a wedding also attended by Temi’s sister and mum.
The wedding was that of another billionaire Folorunsho Alakija’s child – Folarin Alakija – getting married to the Iranian ex girlfriend of Robert Kardashian, Naza Jafarian.
Folarin, an entrepreneur in his 30s married for the second time on June 10th after loosing his American first wife, Chena to cancer aged 34 in 2010. Naza, previously a marketing consultant and model, is a socialite who mingles with the world’s elite.
How successful both are remains undetermined, but their parents could easily have footed the bill given Naza’s businessman father and Folarin’s mum who happens to be the richest woman in Nigeria and the 14th richest in Africa with an estimated $2.1billion dollar fortune.
This wedding, a follow up from other lavish celebrations in the form of an engagement party and a traditional wedding in late 2016, is estimated to have cost £5 million.
The costs come as no surprise as the family paid Robin Thicke for a surprise performance (a possible £150,000 upwards paid), a fireworks display, ‘a million roses’ backdrop by Jeff Letham and an estimated £10,000 8-tier cake.
The venue, high class Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, UK, where This Morning presenters Marvin and Rochelle Humes got hitched has a starting price from £7,000 (the basic), but was booked for an estimated £350,000 (including the marbled etched floor).
Nazanin’s wedding dress was adorned with lace and paired with a dazzling diamond necklace and white Manolo Blahniks, all of which excluded other services such as hair and make-up artist, transportation, hotel bookings, bachelor parties and more.
Naija greats were there.
Fellow billionaire, mother of Temi and DJ Cuppy and a close friend of mummy Alakija, Mrs Nana Otedola, flew in specially for the occasion. So did Dangote magnate, Aliko and healthcare philanthropist, Toyin Saraki, while DJ Cuppy brought her boyfriend footballer Victor Anichebe. Australian model, Shanina Shaik was also in attendance.
The couple who got engaged at a getaway last year in Greece, will now start a new life in the UK while Folarin’s daughter with Chena is being raised by his mum who had only boys.
